Now offering BalletBarre Fit TM a New fitness program designed by Richard’s School of the Dance incorporating Ballet, Pilates, and Yoga. This unique blend allows a focus on strength and flexibility training, while offering deep muscle toning, the grace of ballet, the flexibility of yoga and the core strengthening of Pilates. This total body conditioning technique & intense workout will transform and sculpt your entire body.
This total body workout is an efficient and safe form of exercise. It incorporates use of a ballet barre, hand weights, and a yoga ball to help tone your body. Exercises will tend to be small (Plies, releves), focusing on deep toning and sculpting. Other movements used in class focus on larger, more sweeping movements that require more flexibility and coordination (battements, arabesques and tendus). The class is set to music, builds strength, endurance and flexibility. Combining all these quality aspects from each discipline also makes this a low impact workout and easy on the joints.
